I wonder if the choice of name for the antagonist, Voight (which is a real surname, like famous actor Jon Voight), was also partially inspired by Veidt from Watchmen and Vought from The Boys. Googling the meaning of the name, in german in means the overseer or manager of a household, a steward.
Yes, here I am pondering about aspects of Hellraiser 2022 – it was a great comeback for the series, a worthy successor to the first two. It's obvious they intended, and succeeded, in making a genuine Gothic horror film, something timeless. There's so many ways this could go wrong. As a long time fan, thanks to everyone involved.

Watched it, big fan of the first few, but no, the female lead is an idiot yet solves the box in seconds. The plot was bad all over. The make up was ok, but not great. Not the worst film.
I would rank it 5th after the first 4 films in order then this. I do love the lore so I still hope they crank out more.

Then the other RUDE one HAD the nerve to get on the box and was all like; "SHE MEANS YOU WANT TO BE ALIVE, WE AIN'T GOT NOTHING FOR YOU… GOODBYE! BOOP!"…. Fucked up… and alone…. forever apparently 🙁 I got all healed up and everything 🙁 Waste of time, would not recommend. Final review on the box 0-10: You'll end up lamenting itttt…….. :O Sneaky b!tches! I see what you did there! Wellllllll Played!
watched this solely because rafe was in it, but ended up enjoying it alot. the graphics and effects are top notch

Unlike the original Cenobites these look more "from another planet" than different dimension, and their costumes look like costumes🤡There also isn't the feeling of nausea that came with watching the original🤢It's still an okay movie though😏
Even hellraiser is woke these days, if you wanted to steal an iconic design such as pinhead than do it properly, I don't think hellraisers needs equal representation.
