Totally disagree that you can’t be friends with your ex in a healthy way. I think it’s weird to share so much with a person to have a rule you can never talk to them again just because you’re not in a romantic relationship. Adults can be mature and maintain a platonic relationship with their ex. I’ve done it with many of mine. Love the video either way!
Gurl, you married to a gay man! We don't need advice from you!
It’s incredibly disrespectful how he calls Caitlyn Jenner by her deadname and wrong pronouns. I get it if he doesn’t accept her as a woman, but he’s doing this in purpose at this point.
That was great advice, Candace! 👍
totally agree with discussing the end goal from the beginning. I personally don't think having an extended time (over 1.5+ years) is wise. It's just passing time for its own sake.
My next boyfriend has to be Candace approved, no exceptions. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I grew up in a conservative household but my parents avoided talking about sex and dating. I have had casual relationships and I 100% agree with you. I wish someone had advised me on that as TV has told us it’s cool and modern to have casual sex or friends with benefits, and if you develop feelings that means you’re either weak/needy or your feelings mean something. No, the whole idea is stupid, confusing and a waste of time.
Wow Candice your killing it. Glad there is someone like you giving such well informed and insightful advice.

Love you Candace!
Have I seen you before with a pony tail? That looks great on you girl! I feel like I haven't ever seen you with one.
Love the advice towards the end of the video. And that goes for any age, just ask and don’t be a placeholder. If that person says “no”…oh well, then they’re not the one, you’ll have a bruised ego for a couple of days but life goes on. Life is too short to wait around for months, years and wonder what will happen if you do or don’t ask someone out or to wait around for years on end for someone to make up their mind on whether or not they want marriage
I really enjoyed you here, Candace. Advice to be appreciated.
I absolutely love these videos. I love it when we get to see you and Ben engage with your audience on a personal level. Obviously, there are boundaries when it comes to your personal lives. I'm sure you have a vetting process when it comes to personal questions and what you do/don't feel comfortable sharing. Which I absolutely understand and respect. However, it is so refreshing to see you guys let your guard down a little bit, engage in funny banter and your endearing anecdotes about your personal lives and various personal experiences. It humanizes you guys. You feel so much more relatable and human. I've always adored you. But, from a viewers perspective of seeing all of your videos, from serious to lighthearted. They are all great. But, when you throw these vids into the mix, it's such a fun break to see you all show this fun side of you. Keep it up! Please! 😁❤️
Also, I'd just like to add, my husband has no social media and he loathes it. I do have social media, he's aware of. It doesn't bother him. He's not a social person and I am. I enjoy posting pics of my family and connecting with my friends and family. I do think social media can be so toxic, though. I do think it absolutely can be a super negative and detrimental space. Therefore, I spend very little time on there.
I had a similar experience with my husband. The first day I met him through my cousin, we went to his house to hang out for a couple hours. I told her on my way home, that's the man I'm going to marry. She just laughed at me. 2 weeks later we went back to his house for a Halloween party. Him and I ended up hanging out the entire night. From that night on, we have been together every day since then. That was 18 years ago. We met when I was 19 and he was 24. We have been together ever since. We got married after 4 years though lol. I wanted to wait until I was a little older and not living his guy roommates. After we got into our own house, is when we got married. 🙂
What in the world have you done to advance the improvement of human life and conditions? You seem to be so negative all the time.
Miss Ma'am yes!!!! When you said girls are missing manly men that actually ask them out!!! Seattle joined the frikkin chat!!! 🤣🤣🤣 living here is SUCH a struggle because of this. The culture is notoriously freezy, timid, frigid, introverted, insular, etc; when it comes to making friends and especially dating! Men here will stare and watch hard af but never shoot their shot!!!! I'm over it. Be a man. As controversial as that is today who cares I will appreciate you more for even just having the balls to go for it!
so true…
This could turn into a thing Candace. I think it's pretty cool that you're giving dating advice.
Ill say it slowly. There is no right time to ask when to marry. Every one is different. Sometimes being young and dumb and just going for it works. With in 3 months had a birthday, marriage and child. 23 years now. It can work out. It just takes work.
I love that kissing effect in the beginning LMFAO!
Your hair is pretty!
Who is she?
Wow- Candace getting engaged after 2 weeks is super surprising to me. And it worked out for her- can't be mad there. But wow.
