Also since the toys always have to stay still when caught since toys when they were getting cut up and glued and weird ways they had to remain still and get hurt the whole time

I'm sorry but this is the most unlogical and dumbest theory about toy story I have seen.
The toys in toy story are alive because of the creativity of children

Wheezy The Penguin may have once been an explorer of Antarctica who died in an unfortunate accident on an expedition like Sir John Franklin and his crew.

Hey, that smarts! That cartoon whistle zing sound creeps me out, at 1:56! Too annoying and out-of-place! I (Along with other people) am currently protesting that the use of that cartoon whistle zing sound needs to stop being used, all the time. Due to its annoyance and overusage.

  30. The reason potato head can take over food is because his body is not in control off his features but his features control the body!!!!!!

I watch Toy Story 2 yesterday!! LOL

  32. i think that the toys are human children who died because from ive learned spirits can possess keep sake like toys depending on the way of their death kids like horses cowboys spaceman and other things toys are also passed along alot so they could be posses by their former owners also could be derived by andy strong imagination and when andy loses belief they can sense it will mean the end as well ik its far fetched but either one could be

I wouldn't have ranked this above a 2; you skipped over the fact that Buzz was a brand new toy, while the others are really old. Like you showed in Toy Story 2; "Woody's Roundup" was from the 40s to the 50s, if the movies take place when hey were released, in this case the early 90s, then Woody would have been at LEAST 40 years old; so he would've went through the "New Toy" stage (like we see Buzz do) and learned that he wasn't "Sheriff Woody Pride," but Woody the Cowboy Doll. And it would make sense that he wouldn't remember Jessie, Bullseye, or the Prospector because when he realized he wasn't the person he thought he was, he would've assumed they were made up too and just forgot about them. Had Buzz (the one we know) not seen a Zurg doll, chances are he would've assumed it was just a made up name for his character and nothing more.
When I say the toys are old, I mean, most of them seem to date back to the 50s and 60s; Mr. Potato Head, Slinky Dog, and the army men. Now I'm not sitting here saying that all of Andy's toys are hand-me-downs from his father, but chances are they could be yard sale finds, or they could've gotten the toys when Andy was really little and they've had time to adjust as well have a veteran like Woody to help ease them into the idea that they are toys.
I've seen posts where people think that maybe Woody was Andy's father's toy, which is possible if Andy's dad was born in 1950 (possibly getting Woody in 56 or possibly on sale after the show was cancelled in 57), putting him at ~38 when Andy was born, which is kind of late to be having kids, but I don't see anything pointing to the movie being set earlier than 94-95. But I digress, if Woody is a hand-me-down, it would explain why Andy treats him so well, and if Andy's father died, then Andy would be all Woody has left of his original owner and why he gets so territorial when Buzz comes around and steals all of Andy's attention.
Are they ghosts? I don't think so. The idea of the toys being possessed by spirits would mean that they wouldn't have these attachments to the toy's backstory, but Buzz (each new one that we've seen) acts like they are THE Buzz Lightyear from the shows/ movies/ however Buzz was introduced. Not to mention most of the toys seem to be asleep or dormant until they're either opened or something wakes them up, at least that's how it was with the Buzzes, the exception to this would be the Prospector, but he could've been opened and put back into his box to be resold. I have nothing to base my idea on Prospector on other than there are were a few people back in the day who understood that keeping a toy's box was important for the future and they could have stuffed him back in the box, put a little tape on the lid and sold him that way. An unethical practice, but a practice nonetheless.
I know this was a novel of a comment, but I felt like this needed to be said. The Toy Story series is one of my absolute favorites and I thought these details were a little important for this theory.
