Best videogame soundtrack of any kind since Chrono Cross! A concept as dumb as Ancien Aliens Doom has NO RIGHT to tug at my heart strings, but thanks to this OST, it certainly does!

this is really really well done. the ENTIRE soundtrack no less. i cannot do anything but love this amount of effort.
really underrated/obscure soundtrack in general, and i love to see people doing it justice.

If this guy would ever make a cover again, he's gotta do Freedoom 1 & 2!

I was not expecting Ancient Alien's OST to be here on Youtube. Not only was I wrong about that, but something even less likely happened. A full blown Cover Album, not a single song no... The whole bloody thing!

    Listen...

    You're awesome!

  7. 1:26:24 ...it's... sounds so cool... my fav track in this megawad.

It'd be sad if people thought Featherfall and Birdsong were exclusive to Ancient Aliens, since both were featured first in the megawad Interception (and later featured in Back To Saturn X). It's understandable though why they would appear again here since Stuart Rynn does allow for his music to be used elsewhere, and regardless of origin I think both covers sound great here not to mention the rest of the soundtrack. :)

Vase and MoonWalk are my favorite ones. You did an amazing job on this! This is my first time listening to the "un-midi-fied" version.

I really like vase. It makes me think I'm going on a adventure. I mean, even when i go on long walks i think of the vase track.

    Good Job!

Your work is really good, I could learn a lot from your mixing and production. One thing you will eventually need to do is learn to play and record electric guitar as synth guitars with distortion sound bad. You can record guitar cheaply with a rocksmith cable for $40. Then you dont even need to play perfectly as programs like FL Studio and Adobe Audition (many others as well) can stretch the time without changing the pitch.

Subscribed, liked, whatever you want me to do, holy fuck, that's some real talent right here.

    Love it.
Hate to be that guy but I do have some criticisms. 45:42 doesn't sound nice at all to be brutally honest, I assume it's because it's two guitars playing the same notes so they stack together to give that unpleasant effect. It might have been better to remove the second guitar track and add the delay directly to the main one. I only bring this up because Birdsong is also in Back to Saturn X, so you may well end up working with the song again, so this might be something to bear in mind. Also it's kind of a shame how the main melody in Imaginarium got kind of nuked.

But as a whole, this is really fantastic, great work! Desk Lamp, Moonwalk and Yuletide are probably my favourites here.
