Ancient Aliens Speak At Last – Elite: Dangerous

April 23, 2019 By

With the release of Elite: Dangerous 2.2.03 the Ancient alien ruins are starting to give up their secrets. Explorers have been tasked by Ram Tah to examine the ruins with the aid of special processing software he’s supplying. As of right now we have 3 weeks to solve the mystery so far only 12% of the data has been acquired.

welp, that settles it, wipe them out... they went down the full scale biological warfare rabbit hole and used it on their own kind, a horror we were/are fully capable of but were never quite scummy enough let out of the cage

Watching your videos makes me realize just how little I've found/done in this game...

i wonder why the devs didnt just make the combinations random so everyone would have to figure it out for themselves. i mean it would be a little unrealistic but so is hundreds of pilots deciphering the biggest discovery in history with the help of a walkthrough:)

I see the bottom of the dock bay says " Never Surrender". Be a nice tip of the hat to Galaxy Quest if the top says " Never Give Up"

0:42 It says "Never surrender" on one side of the mail slot.

I really, really, really hope it says "Never give up" on the other side, which I can't see, because your ship is in the way.

I have a question: Since I love playing KSP, should I get Star Citizen or Elite: Dangerous? They both look like super awesome games, but I'm not sure which one I'd like more.

Does anyone know if you can claim the reward for the mission but still have it? (ie it won't dissappear off of your contracts tab so that you can claim more rewards for later ruins?)

When I approached the ruins I thought of the line from the movie Prometheus"God doesn't build in straight lines"

I got 12 scanned. What I'm seeing is 81 data to collect in 4 categories, (19 Biological, 20 Tech, 21 Language, and 21 Historical). I wonder if there are 19 more data in an as yet unknown 5th category, or if there's a bonus of 19 million when you complete all 4 sets. I'll be back at it this weekend. As a bonus I got 370,000 in exploration data on the trip out and back from my home.

Hey Scott, first gotta say thanks, because of your vids I now play two more awsome games, those being E:D and KSP. But I do have a Physics question, anyway I need to describe my Idea. So say you have a tidaly locked object at the closest orbit of a a star if you placed a station in a synchronous orbit you could keep it shieled from the star. So my question is even though Mercury is not tidaly locked would it be possible to put something in orbit so it always has Mercury between it and the sun? Once again thanks!

Hey Scott, what do you think about the new Thrustmaster TM.16000M Hotas System? Worth a buy? Using an Saitek X52 and thinking of exchange for the Thrustmaster Hotas.
